Dear BLCA Family,
We pray this summer brings peace and joy to you and your loved ones. Our community continues to grow stronger together, and we’re proud to highlight several recent accomplishments:
-
Infrastructure Improvements: Secured new sewer systems and resurfaced roads, benefiting over 1,200 homes.
-
Youth Support: Launched a $5,000 multi-year scholarship fund for outstanding North Babylon High School seniors.
-
Community Beautification: Upgraded the Nevada Road Triangle gardens and added accent lighting at the Hilltop Avenue and Little East Neck Road entrance.
-
Engaging Events: Brought together over 600 neighbors at our Summer Concert Series and Fall Festival, celebrating unity and fellowship.
Looking ahead, several exciting projects are underway:
-
Landscape lighting at Belmont Avenue & Essex Street
-
Enhancements to the Brennan High School Field for expanded community use
-
Expansion of the Memorial Brick Walk at the Mount Avenue Triangle
-
Installation of a new Welcome Sign & Garden at Straight Path & Edison Avenue
Your support influences our progress! Here’s how you can make an impact:
Founded in 1959, BLCA is one of the oldest continuing civic associations in New York State. Together, we’re preserving the beauty, safety, and legacy of our historic community for generations to come. Questions or ideas? We’re here to listen and help.
Blessings Always,
Travis Steward
